The design of Chiltern Place pays homage to Amersham’s Georgian buildings, with features such as stone corbelling, flat-roofed dormers, and arched heads to the windows.

The national awards – which this year were held via a virtual event - are organised by Housebuilder magazine and supported by the National House Building Council and the Home Builders Federation.

The retirement developer has also been acknowledged for its low Covid-19 rates inside its homes being awarded the Housebuilder Special Recognition Award 2020.

Julie Ward, National Sales Director at McCarthy Stone, was delighted with the award and praised the team based in Amersham.

She said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised with a prestigious national award for Chiltern Place.
