The Rotary Club in Marlow has raised £5000 for both One Can foodbank and Wycombe Homeless Connection as the club have a new President.

At the start of the New Year, the long-standing Marlovian resident David Duxbury became the new President of the Rotary Club, the oldest of the three in Marlow.
Many local charities have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and the Rotary Club has decided to focus on helping charities most impacted.

The club's aim will continue to try and help those in need of support especially in the local area through an active programme.
This year the Rotary Club is hoping it will be possible to run events such as the Senior Citizens Boat Trip, the Ascot Brass Autumn Concert, and of course the traditional Santa’s Fun Run.
During lockdown, the Rotary club has been holding zoom meetings to discuss charity work, community events and host interesting speakers from all over the world.
