A WEATHER warning is in place today throughout Berkshire and Buckinghamshire following yesterday's snow.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning in some areas for ice, meaning icy patches are likely to cause some travel disruption.

Some injuries due to slips and falls on ice can be expected, as well some some icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
Drivers are being urged to be careful on the roads and drive only if necessary.

Yesterday (Sunday, January 24) saw both counties waking up to thick snow, with an early morning snow storm leaving inches to settle.

Reading, Bracknell and Wokingham councils deployed snow ploughs and gritters yesterday to ensure roads were safe, but drivers are still urged to be extra cautious.
With snow continuing to fall, our gritter trucks were out on primary routes at 8am this morning, and will be out again at 4pm keeping roads safe. 🚛

Buckinghamshire Council advised people to drive only if absolutely necessary.
Weather in all areas is expected to warm up at around 1pm to about 4°, with temperatures dropping again to zero at approximately 5pm.
