Work has begun on the new Beaconsfield primary care centre.
The new spacious facilities are set to become home to both the Millbarn and Simpson GP practices next year.
The new care centre will be able to provide a total of 30 consultation and treatment rooms.
A pharmacy, meeting rooms, health education facilities, meeting rooms for staff and a pharmacy will also be available on the site.
Dr Brown, senior partner at Millbarn, said: “All of us at The Millbarn are very excited about the Beaconsfield community benefitting from a new surgery building.

We will be able to provide high quality medical care with the new facilities and meet the challenges that the NHS faces in the future.”
Dr Rakhit, managing partner of the Simpson Centre, said: “We are all keenly awaiting our move to the new premises so we can further improve patient journeys and expand their experience, collaborating with other agencies like volunteer groups and other support agencies to provide more holistic care.”

Richard Drew from developer Apollo said: “We’re delighted to be involved with this very exciting and much-needed project for the town, which after five years is now getting underway.
"The continued support from both Buckinghamshire CCG and NHSE has been important as has the assistance and vision from both practices throughout.”
