A man was left in the care of the ambulance service after a kitchen fire in Beaconsfield this morning.
Firefighters from Beaconsfield and High Wycombe were called out to Hampden Hill at 4.49am.

They used a hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a fan to tackle the fire.
The man, who was suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke, was left in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
