This homely country pub, The Squirrel, has diversified over lockdown by serving a range of takeaway meals for local residents, including their mighty Sunday roasts. 

As well as a full roast on Sunday they offer fish and chips, burgers and more during the week which you can order through their app. 

Served between midday and 4pm their roasts include a south side of lamb, chicken supreme, Herefordshire loin of pork, sirloin of beef or a sweet potato and spinach wellington - with all the trimming and lashings of gravy on the side. 

Prices are between £9.95 and £15.96 while kids eat free.

The Oak, Aston Clinton

This historic pub is at the heart of the community in Aston Clinton and is still open for takeaway orders - they even have a rewards scheme for customers. 

Their mouthwateringly devine roasts include a slow roasted shoulder of lamb with garlic and rosemary, 12-hour slow cooked brisket, chicken breast with stuffing and a nut roast. 

Prices start at £10 for an adults meal and £7 for a child's portion.
