Parts of a village near Aylesbury are flooded due to excessive rain.
Over the weekend [February 6 and February 7], the South East of England was hit with heavy showers and even some snow.
This impacted the village of Watermead, with the area’s lake overflowing onto a footpath in the area.

In a brief Facebook post that was published by Thames Valley Police on Monday, February 8, they said: “PCSOs Dean and Stephenson were doing a routine patrol of Watermead this morning... Foot patrol was not an option on this particular route around the lake!
“We will float by later to see if it has gone down.”

It is not the first time this year that Watermead has been badly impacted by the wet weather.
At the start of 2021, heavy rain saw the village’s lake overflow put several pathways underwater.
