A woman was raped after she was approached by a "persistent" man who tried to get her to sign up to a website dating service at Newport Pagnell Services. 

The woman, in her twenties, was at the service station at around 5am on Saturday, February 6. 

She was approached by a man, who referred to himself as Adam, who tried to get her to sign up for online date, but she refused. 

Following a string of requests, she agreed to take part, and got into his car at around 7am.

He drove her a short distance to a parking area in Pennycress Way - and then sexually assaulted and raped her. 

The man was described as Asian, aged in his late twenties to early thirties. 

He had brown eyes, black hair that was shorter on the sides and longer on top, and a messy beard. He also wore glasses.

He poke with a British accent and told the woman that he lived in Mayfair but was originally from Northampton.

The car he was driving was a silver people carrier with cream fabric interior.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Christina Bradley, of Milton Keynes CID, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened, to please come forward.

“I would also ask any motorists who were in the area to check dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist our investigation.
