Two males have been charged with drug-related crimes in Buckingham.

Matushan Vasanthan, of Gardenia Avenue, Luton, 19, and a 17-year-old boy of no fixed address, were arrested in the town in the afternoon of Friday, February 5.

A  third individual, a 25-year-old man from Aylesbury, has been released on bail whist the investigation continues.

This is part of Aylesbury Stronghold – a regional operation to reduce crime in the area.

In a brief Facebook post that was published on Saturday, February 6 by Thames Valley Police Aylesbury Vale, they said: “Several officers from Aylesbury Police Station stopped a vehicle and detained two individuals suspected to be heavily involved in the county line supply of class A drugs.

They were arrested in Buckingham 

“Officers recovered a substantial quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and a vehicle displaying cloned registration plates.

“A third individual was arrested shortly after from a related address where a further substantial quantity of class A drugs were recovered as well as a stun gun device.”

In total, the 19-year-old man has been charged with the following:

  • Possession with the intent to supply heroin
  • Possession with the intent to supply cocaine
  • Possession with the intent to supply crack cocaine

Whilst the 17-year-old male has been charged with:

  • Possession with the intent to supply heroin
  • Possession with the intent to supply cocaine
  • Possession with the intent to supply crack cocaine
  • Possession of an electrical incapacitation device

The two appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today [Monday, February 8].
