An 11-year-old boy from Chesham is walking 100 miles in February to raise money for his local Citizens Advice Bureau.
Oscar Silverstone decided to take on the challenge to mark his 11th birthday, which is today (February 12).
He said: “I am raising money for Citizens Advice as they are a great charity that helps so many local people, who really need advice at tough times in their lives.
“The volunteers give up their time to help others so I’m walking 100 miles for them and the people that they help.”
Thalia Jervis, Chief Executive for Citizens Advice Bucks said: “It is so lovely to have Oscar fundraise for us.

“People often don’t realise we are a charity and that fundraising and donations allow us to help more people.
“It means a lot to all our staff and volunteers to have the support of such a wonderful and kind young man.”
