Wycombe Wanderers face Reading FC tonight at Adams Park as the Chairboys look for their fifth win of the season to put pressure on the teams above them in the league.

High-flying Lucas Joao scored the only goal when the sides met at the Madejski last time out as Wycombe will be looking to exert revenge on the visitors.

The Royals currently sit in the play-off places after a strong start to the season which saw them top of the tree for the early parts of the campaign

Reading boss, Veljko Paunović is expecting ‘a war’ against Wycombe as he hailed the Championship as one of the hardest leagues in the world.

He said: ‘'I'm looking to tell everyone we are playing one of the hardest leagues in the world. But the race is still on. It's a marathon. You can't stop or look back.

“Our next opponent is the most important the hardest opponent we have.

“I expect a war [against Wycombe]. My warriors must give their best on Tuesday.”

The Chairboys have secured four points out of the last nine and Gareth Ainsworth will be hoping to add three more to that tally for the club’s survival campaign.

Paunović and his side will be plotting a route to automatic promotion sitting six points off second-place Brentford.

Kick-off is at 7:45 pm tonight at Adams Park.
