This hidden gem just outside Princes Risborough has a very loyal customer base, with those who work at the Coco Tamarind being known for making their guests feel very welcome, with several women receiving a rose when entering or leaving the restaurant.

With an average rating of 4.5 out of five from 739 reviews on the website, the Coco Tamarind is highly recommended in the county, and with the country still in lockdown, the restaurant is still doing takeaway which have been well received, with one person saying: “Had a takeaway delivered this week the food was delicious as always arrived hot and full of flavour, looking forward to when we can eat in the restaurant again.”

Number 4: Olive Indian Restaurant, Princes Risborough

Just around the corner from the Coco Tamarind (a five-minute drive according to Google Maps), the Olive Indian Restaurant is hidden away on Duke Street within Princes Risborough and similar to their neighbours, have a popular following.

The restaurant’s success is evident as Trip Advisor have given the Risborough establishment a ‘travellers’ choice’ label, meaning it is popular with customers.

And with an average rating of five out five from 272 reviews, The Olive Indian Restaurant is certainly a place to try out, with one person describing the restaurant as the ‘best curry house they have been to in years.

Number 3: Kappad South Indian Restaurant, High Wycombe

Ranked as the second-best restaurant on the site by users in High Wycombe, it is no surprise that the people of the town are urging locals to visit Kappad.

With a variety of options on their menu and with their very friendly staff, it is not a shock that the establishment has got an average rating of five out of five from 408 reviews.

One person on Trip Advisor said: “Popped in for lunch and stayed a bit longer than we thought! The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

“The menu is lovely and we had a selection of starters followed by the set lunch menu, which was great value for money.”

Number 2: Bombay Palace, High Wycombe

Just a three-minute walk away from Kappad, High Wycombe’s Bombay Palace is well-known within the town and is one of the most popular Indian restraints in the area.

In fact, the Crendon Street venue has been voted as the number one restaurant in High Wycombe on the site, and with a rating of 4.5 out of five from 1,002 reviews, you can see why.

One of the testimonials, which is from this month, reads: “I recently returned to High Wycombe so this was the first time I had used Bombay Palace for one year.

Number 1: Dipalee Lounge, Buckingham

If you’re not familiar with Dipalee Lounge in Buckingham, then according to Trip Advisor, you need to try them out as they are ranked as the number one Indian restaurant one the site in Buckinghamshire.

With an incredible rating of five out of five from 362 reviews, the Castle Street venue boasts a big menu and reasonably priced food.

One person from this month said: “Consistently really good, never lets us down, very well run, and the food has brilliant flavours, very satisfying.”
