What benefit do the developers expect to get, in the current climate, by converting the Tesco Express store in Little Chalfont into three smaller units?
Surely, no small businessperson with any sense is going to invest money in a shop, when shops all over the country are closing?
The case officer for Buckinghamshire Council doesn’t seem to have recognised this.
The butcher’s shop in Little Chalfont has already closed. At least ten shops have closed in Old Amersham and top Amersham.
We have not heard from Tesco. Do they want to go?
Chenies Parade needs a convenience store like Tesco to keep it thriving.
