Buckinghamshire Council deals with thousands of planning applications every year.
They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.

Here are five of the best projects announced from last week - the council will now consider whether each should go ahead.

Newland Park, Chalfont St Giles

Developers have put forward proposals to construct a film set complete with parking, storage and set construction units.

The set would be used for a ‘television series for a US Production company’, although no specific details of the programme have yet been confirmed.

A total of 30 buildings would be temporarily built to incorporate the set.
Involved in the filming will be between 300 and 350 cast and crew.

Developers have sought permission for a 12 month planning application in order to allow for any Covid-related delays to the filming.

Following the conclusion of the filming, developers have ensured that the land will be cleared and the site reinstates to its original condition and appearance.

They have also ensured that ‘extensive screening’ will ensure that neighbouring properties will not be impacted by the proposal.

Accommodation Above 64 Wycombe Lane, Wooburn Green

A proposal has been submitted to convert this Wooburn Green property.
Developers wish to demolish the single storey outbuilding to the rear of the property and build a series of extensions in order to form two new flats. 

Cores End United Reformed Church, Cores End Road, Bourne End

This Church in Bourne End have submitted a plan to refurbish the exterior of the site.
The plan is to remove part of the southern boundary wall and reinstate a gate and separate part of a wall.

Sunnings Lodge, Ibstone Road, Ibstone 

Two new homes could be constructed in Ibstone.

The proposal outlines plans to demolish the existing property on the site and build one three-bedroom and one four-bedroom house.

12 Furlong Road, Bourne End

Plans have been put forward to build a new pizza takeaway in Bourne End.

Developers hope to redevelop a vacant shop space on 12 Furlong Road in Bourne End into the new takeaway.

An additional two car parking spaces and ten cycle spaces would be built to the rear of the property.

A flue would also be built at the rear of the site, which developers haVe stated would be out of sight.

Details on the potential opening times of the takeaway and the name are yet to be confirmed.
