A driver was stopped by police yesterday evening after 'speeding and undertaking traffic'.

The driver, who had reportedly failed to notice the police car behind him, was caught 'accelerating to high speeds whilst undertaking traffic' on the A40 in Denham.

Police issued with the driver with a Section 59 warning.

These warnings allow the police to give drivers a warning if they are reported to have used their vehicle in a manner which causes "alarm, distress or annoyance".

Should the driver be reported doing the same within the next 12 months, the police have the right to confiscate the vehicle.
