Bucks charity musical festival, Rock Bottom has been postponed for the second year running.

The festival, in Marlow Bottom, was due to take place on June 19, just before the earliest date that the Government will allow large music events to take place.

As this date is not guaranteed the organisers have been unable to find a date in 2021 where affordable staging, headline artists, and not in line with other large events in the Marlow area.

As it is not yet clear what measures the government will require in place to sanction festivals safe the small charity believe it is important that know unreasonable financial risks are taken.

It has been confirmed that Rock Bottom will make its return on June 25, 2022.

Purchased tickets will roll-over to next year.

A spokesman for the festival said: “The good news is that we are 100% ready to go on Saturday 25th June 2022.

“Noasis will be headlining and we will be welcoming back old as well as introducing new acts.

“Existing tickets will be valid and will automatically roll forward to 2022 – no action is required.

“We also will be expanding our already great Fireworks event with live music and other attractions on 6th November 2021.

“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of our events of which 100% of the profits are put back into the local community.”
