Banksy has today confirmed that the new mural that appeared outside Reading Gaol on Monday morning (March 1) is genuine.
The image appeared overnight and has been the subject of speculation until now.

The street artist seemingly verified his work through his Instagram page by uploading a video of himself creating the work
However, some residents are asking the question if the street artist made the short trip to Bucks.

Not long before the prison wall image was discovered in Reading a Banksy-esque piece of artwork was spotted in Marlow at The Duke pub.
