A dedicated councillor who died after a battle with cancer has been laid to rest in what his colleagues called a "lovely" service.
Councillor Bill Bendyshe-Brown, known to many as B3, was a former Wycombe district councillor for 16 years from 1999 to 2015 and more recently a Buckinghamshire County Councillor for seven years from 2013-2020, representing the Risborough area for both.
He tragically passed away last month after battling cancer.
The past chairman of Wycombe District Council was laid to rest in a service at his local parish church on Friday, March 12, after a procession through Princes Risborough High Street.
Buckinghamshire Council leader Martin Tett, who joined the service online, said it was a "lovely" service that was "beautifully done".
He added: "Condolences to his wife, family and friends from all at Buckinghamshire Council."
Cllr David Martin added: "Very moving with wonderful tributes to a great councillor and brave gentleman. RIP Bill."
