Buckinghamshire Council deals with thousands of planning applications every year.

They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.

Here are five of the most interesting projects announced from last week - the council will now consider whether each should go ahead.

Endsleigh, Town Lane, Wooburn Green

A prior notification application has been submitted to the council which could see the property become a three-bedroom house.

The shop room has been used as a workshop and studio 2010.

Developers wish to add the room to the rest of the accommodation to make one detached house.

Suite 106, Cliveden Office Village, Lancaster Road, High Wycombe

A planning application for the new High Wycombe driving centre has been submitted.

Previously, thousands of people signed a petition to help prevent the closure of the town’s driving test centre and a campaign called Save Wycombe Driving Test Centre was set up by instructors, who worked hard to engage with the DVSA on suitable alternative sites.

The new site will employ up to three examiners, to each conduct up to seven tests per day.

Elmdown Farm, Skirmett Road, Skirmett

This listed building has submitted an application to help restore it to its previous glory.

The restoration work will include, if approved, replacement roof tiles, removal of non-original infill and lean-to, replacement weatherboarding, replacement brick and flint plinths, addition of oak posts and fenestration alterations.

Land to the rear of Windmill Cottages, Main Road, Lacey Green

An outline application has been put to the council relating to the creation of two more properties.

The land to the rear of the current cottages would be developed in order to create the two new detached homes.

Denner Hill Studio, Hampden Road, Prestwood

This listed building could be renovated.
