PLANS for two new properties are to be decided next week after “concerns” relating to a previous application have been “overcome”.

Two people are seeking from Bucks Council conditional permission to build two new homes on Watchet Lane in Holmer Green – one with an integral garage, plus vehicle access.

One property will be a two-storey house, the other a bungalow.

The application was deferred in March 2020 to resolve several concerns relating to landscaping, bin storage, “inadequate” vehicle turning and ‘entrance visibility’.

Planning officers say these and others have now been “overcome”, according to a council document.

Three similar applications were all refused. One was appealed and dismissed on grounds one plot would “be harmful to the amenities of” a neighbour.

“It is considered that the concerns raised have been sufficiently overcome and that the development can be approved, subject to conditions,” a council officer wrote.

The matter is due for debate during an East Buckinghamshire Area Planning Committee, on Tuesday, April 6.
