The Covid-19 pandemic has drawn the community together in ways we could have never imagined.

Despite the heartache and challenges thrown at us all over the past year, thousands of people have volunteered to help make it easier for other people.

Whether you have helped deliver shopping or medications to those shielding, collected for charity or assisted in making vital PPE, we wouldn't have been able to get through the worst of the pandemic without amazing volunteers.

If you know an incredible person who helped out the community, why not nominate them for a Volunteer of the Year award at the Buckinghamshire Health and Social Care Awards?

Volunteer of the Year

This award acknowledges those volunteers who have shown an exceptional and outstanding commitment to helping people.

They can be from inside or outside the NHS, working formally or informally.

We want to know how they go above and beyond the call of duty and the difference they are making to people’s lives.
