With more lockdown restrictions set to ease next Monday here are some outdoor activities you can enjoy in Bucks.

Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park is due to open on May 17 and offers lots of outdoor spaces and a children’s play area making it a great place for picnics.

There are also interesting exhibitions to explore which are surrounded by wartime buildings.

The Mansion at Bletchley Park is where the first Codebreakers were based and now it contains temporary and permanent exhibitions on WWII.

In 2019, the popular museum welcomed more than 280,000 visitors so you will need to book your tickets online in advance.

Gulliver's Land Theme Park and Resort

The theme park based in Milton Keynes is due to open on April 12 along with its three other sites in the UK.

Gulliver’s Land, which opened in 1999, is the perfect trip for all the family to enjoy the thrills of classic theme park rides or a tour of their attractions.

 

Bekonscot Model Village and Railway

Bekonscot Model Village and Railway is the world’s oldest and original model village, opening in 1929.

With 90 years of history over 15 million visitors have seen the huge model railway in the 1.5 acres of gardens and finely detailed model buildings.

Stuck in a 1930s time warp, see England how it used to be, and discover a wonderful little world tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Stoke Place Hotel bottomless brunch events

The hotel has announced a calendar of bottomless brunch events, with the first set to take place in its outdoor tipi on Saturday 17 April 2021.

Stoke Place is the perfect setting with 26 acres of grounds, including a large tipi, private gazebos and outdoor seating areas soaking up the views.

Bookings can now be made for the bottomless brunch events which each have a different theme including Brunch like it’s 1999, Old school R’n’Brunch, Disco Boogie Brunch and many more.

Terry McEvoy, the hotel’s general manager, said: “We’re really excited to be able to welcome guests back to Stoke Place in a few weeks.

“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to create a new events programme, new menus and make sure our outdoor space is looking its best.”

Waddesdon Manor

The manor is currently running a trail that gives you a chance to engage with nature whilst completing 10 different activities along the way.

Running until April 11, it is a great place for some Easter fun and then from April 14, the aviary and Manor Gift and Wine shop will be open.

May 19 will see the opening of the ‘Nick Knight: Roses from my Garden’ exhibition in the Coach House gallery.

The Five Arrows Hotel bar, restaurant and rooms, will also be open from Wednesday to Sunday.
