THAMES Valley Police (TVP) is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Waddesdon involving three cars.

Officers were called at 5.43pm on Friday (April 16) to reports of a crash between a light blue Audi A6, a silver Ford Focus and a silver Ford C Max on the A41 at Fleet Marston between Aylesbury and Waddesdon.

It was reported that the Ford Focus, travelling westbound, took evasive action, and was in collision with the Audi before colliding head-on with the Ford C Max which was travelling in the opposite direction.

Police said: "Three occupants in the Focus suffered serious injuries, with a 55-year-old man, a 33-year-old woman and a 30-year-old woman being taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where they all remain in a serious, but stable condition.

"A nine-year-old boy suffered less serious injuries and was treated at the Stoke Mandeville hospital.

"Three occupants in the C Max suffered minor injuries and were treated in hospital, while the driver of the Audi was unhurt."

Investigating officer PC Richard Martin of the Roads Policing Unit based at Amersham, said: “This was an extremely serious collision and as a result, three people have suffered significant injuries and remain in the John Radcliffe Hospital.

“I am appealing to anybody who was in the area and witnessed this collision to please contact 101, quoting reference number 43210160915.

“I would also like to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage of this collision to please get in touch with the force.

“Nobody has been arrested, but investigations are in the early stages and continue at this time.”
