Parts of Lavendon, which is a village near Milton Keynes, will benefit from the £1,712,412 that will be spent on the area, with £831,400 going towards educational amenities from early years to post-16-year-olds, as well as over £149,000 being spent for the community’s health facilities and over £111,200 as an MK inward investment.

The money has been funded by David Wilson Homes, as the home building company are currently working on a new development in Lavendon Fields, which will have several three, four and five bedroom houses.
John Dillon, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “We see an investment into the areas in which we build as both a key responsibility and a priority, helping to support the local community and offer our support wherever we can.

“Showing a financial commitment to local communities is a significant part of building a new homes development, through contributions to education and health amenities amongst many.
“As our Lavendon Fields development progresses, we will not only be supporting the area financially, but also through the jobs we have created for local people and the quality homes we are building.”
