A man was arrested in High Wycombe last night after he was apparently stealing fuel from a petrol station.

The police detained the man whilst in the progress of the suspected theft.

He was then arrested for the alleged theft and also reported driving offences and drugs possession.

A tweet from Thames Valley police Wycombe read: "Team 4 have responded to a theft of fuel in progress, and swiftly detained one male.

"This male was then arrested for the theft, along with driving offences and drugs possession.

"All in a night's work!"
