LOCAL elections are nearly upon us, and as Buckinghamshire residents prepare to cast their votes on May 6, the Free Press has compiled a list of formerly Aylesbury Vale District councillors who will not be standing.

Among the 20 retirees who will not stand for election in a weeks’ time, three have totted up more than 20 years of service.
