Two men from Aylesbury have been arrested and charged with alleged drug crimes.

Just after midday on Thursday, April 29, officers from the Aylesbury Vale Stronghold team arrested two men, aged 18 and 21, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

One of the alleged culprits was arrested on Buckingham Road, with the authorities forcing an entry into a ‘related address’ on the same street, which led to a second arrest.

And despite the individual's best efforts ‘to discard the drugs’ officers have since ‘recovered a substantial quantity of crack cocaine and heroin.’

In all, both men have been charged with the following crimes:

  • Possession with the intent to supply Class A - Heroin
  • Possession with the intent to supply Class A - Crack Cocaine

Both have been remanded into police custody and will appear in court today Friday, April 30.

A TVP Aylesbury Vale statement that was published in the early hours of April 30 read: “We are committed in doing the utmost we can to make Aylesbury Vale as hostile as possible for those that seek to sell drugs on our streets.”

The arrests were made as part of the Aylesbury Stronghold – an operation to tackle serious crime within the town.

The operation has led to numerous arrests and charges relating to drug crimes since the turn of the year.
