This is the machete-wielding thug from High Wycombe who is starting a more than seven-year jail term for attacking another man in the street. 

Omar Zaheer, 21, stabbed Imran Ahmed multiple times on Chairborough Road, High Wycombe, on June 16 last year. 

He was jailed this week for seven years and three months, with an extended licence period of two years. 

Zaheer, previously of Bushey Close but whose address is now HMP Bullingdon, slashed at Mr Ahmed - who was also armed - before fleeing the scene. 

Horrified neighbours called 999 and the terrifying incident was caught on CCTV. 

Mr Ahmed, who was found at a nearby address with a huge gash in his shoulder and his arm, did not co-operate with the police's investigation into the attack but Zaheer was jailed this week. 

Now, Thames Valley Police has released a photo taken of Zaheer taken in custody.
