Drivers from Bucks who were caught speeding at up to 94mph on the M40 were convicted in the courts last month.

Colin Ball, aged 42 of London Road in High Wycombe admitted to driving a BMW at 88mph on the motorway near Beaconsfield, where the speed limit is 70mph, on September 6.

He was fined £100 and had to pay £84 costs following a hearing at Oxford Magistrates Court on April 6, as well as having three penalty points added to his licence.

Jason Davis, aged 49 and of Hedgerley Lane, in Gerrards Cross, was also caught speeding near Beaconsfield on the same day, travelling at 83mph on the motorway.

He admitted the charge at Oxford Magistrates Court on April 6, and was fined £145, told to pay £124 costs and was also given three points on his licence.

Milton Melo, 38, of Jubilee Road in Stokenchurch, was convicted of driving at 94mph on a stretch of the M40 in Oxfordshire, near Junction 7, in a black Renault on September 20.

He was fined £440, ordered to pay £134 costs and had his licence endorsed with four penalty points at a hearing at Oxford Magistrates Court on April 22.

Robert Drury, aged 63 and of Newbarn Lane in Seer Green was convicted of driving a black Land Rover at 84mph on the M40 near Beaconsfield on September 25.

At a hearing at Oxford Magistrates Court, he was fined £100, told to pay £34 costs and got three points on his licence.
