In his first engagement since being re-elected as Mayor of Marlow, Richard Scott visited the dementia information hub to mark Dementia Awareness Week

The hub is open until May 23 in Liston Court 10am to 4pm each day, where numerous information will be handed out.

Ran by Dementia Action for Marlow a volunteer group set up for people living with dementia and their carers.

The group aims to provide support and facilitate social interaction by making regular contact, arranging small ‘café gatherings,’ enabling friendships between those in similar situations, and providing a voice to improve the information and support available.

Marlow Mayor, Richard Scott said: “This is a valuable service for dementia sufferers and their carers.

“We encourage everyone in the area who is dealing with this debilitating disease to contact them.”

The hub will finish at the Marlow Museum Court Garden for a musical tea party.
