A man who died in an incident on the M40 last week has been identified by coroners - as flowers and tributes are left at the scene.
Stuart David Knowles, 40, of Holtspur Way in Beaconsfield, died after being involved in a crash with a vehicle last Tuesday (May 11).
Paramedics provided emergency care, but he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene - on the M40 between junction 3 for Loudwater and 2 for Beaconsfield.
Flowers and tributes have been left on the Broad Lane overbridge in Wooburn Green in tribute to Stuart, a father described as a "living legend" and "happy and smiley" by his friends and loved ones.
Buckinghamshire Coroner's Court in Beaconsfield confirmed Stuart's identity on Thursday.
An inquest will be held into his death.
A fundraising page set up in Stuart's memory has so far raised more than £2,500 to pay for his funeral.
