FIREFIGHTERS and a resident pulled down a 20ft tree yesterday which was "in danger of falling" onto a bungalow.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the crew from West Ashland attended the scene.

In a tweet the service said: "In this evening's second wind-related incident in Milton Keynes, firefighters and a resident have pulled down a 20ft conifer which was in danger of falling on to a bungalow in Furzton."

Firefighters and a resident used a rope to pull down the tree.
