The murder investigation into the death of a young father whose remains were found in a Bucks woodland is still ongoing two years after he first disappeared.
The remains of Mohammed Shah Subhani, aged 27, were discovered in a woodland near the M40 motorway in Hedgerley in December 2019.
Metropolitan Police had been searching the area for some time after he disappeared from Hounslow, in West London, in May 2019.
Although several people were arrested in connection with the victim’s death, a homicide investigation is ongoing and as yet no one has been charged.
At a pre-inquest review at Beaconsfield Coroners Court today (Wednesday), chief coroner for Bucks Crispin Butler said: “The investigation is ongoing. There has been no homicide charge for any individual or group of individuals, no one has appeared in court.”
With no new information to hand, Mr Butler decided to adjourn to a further pre-inquest review, which will take place on Wednesday, August 25.
