A man was stabbed three times with a kitchen knife at KFC in Wycombe Retail Park - and a teenager has been arrested.

The 22-year-old man was at KFC in Ryemead Way, Wycombe Marsh, on Wednesday night when he was attacked.

He was reportedly grabbed by two other men at some point between 8.50pm and 9.30pm.

One of the attackers punched the man in the face while the other - who the victim recognised - took a small kitchen knife from his waistband and stabbed at him three times in his right buttock.

The victim managed to run off and was taken to hospital for stitches, but he has since been discharged.

Both of the men involved were black, with the unknown attacker described as being under 6ft in height with a large build and tight curly black hair.

An 18-year-old man from High Wycombe has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 GBH with intent and has been released on conditional bail until June 26.

Designated Investigator Adey Clark, of Wycombe CID, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this assault or who has any information that can assist this investigation to please contact police.

“You can do so by making a report online, quoting reference 43210228657, or by calling 101.

“Alternatively, for 100 per cent anonymity, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

It is the second stabbing in High Wycombe in a matter of days, although there is no suggestion at this stage that the two are linked in any way.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested after a teenage boy was stabbed in the leg near Sports Direct in White Hart Street.

The road was cordoned off by the entrance to Eden following the attack.
