A 25-year-old man who was on the run from the police decided to hide in the nearest building when ditching his car… which turned out to be a police station.

The man, who is from London, hid in Thames Valley Police’s Aylesbury branch when being chased by the police.

As he ran towards the building, police revealed that 'a large number of very small items were then thrown across the car park.'. Those have been sent to labs for testing.

In a Facebook post that was published on Thursday, June 3, TVP Aylesbury Vale said: “We briefly closed access to the station to recover all the items and will be sending them off for testing.”

“The police station is open again to the public....and to anyone else who may be looking to hide from the police.”

The 25-year-old has since been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and is currently in custody.
