A knuckleduster and knife-wielding e-scooter rider has been banned from driving in Buckinghamshire.

Ryan Hill, aged 31, has been given a one-year community order, told to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work, and given a six-month driving ban for three offences he committed earlier this year.

At Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on March 23, Hill pleaded guilty to one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, one count of possessing a knife in a public place and one count of using a motor vehicle in a public place without insurance.

On February 4, Hill, of Elm Grove in West Drayton, was caught by police illegally riding an e-scooter without insurance in Wayfarer Road, near Northolt.

Police also found on him a knuckleduster and a Stanley knife.

Hill pleaded guilty to all three charges at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.

As well as the community order and driving ban, the two weapons were also seized and destroyed by police.
