Each location has 1000 free tickets designated in a bid to thank key workers who have gone above and beyond during the pandemic.

Members of the public can now nominate local key workers to receive a pair of complimentary tickets to Pub in the Park festival this Summer.

From NHS workers and carers to refuse teams, to teachers and cleaners – any of the essential members of our communities will be eligible for nomination.

There are also 200 tickets per event reserved for personal nominations.

Tickets are allocated on a first come first serve basis with the Pub in the Park working with NHS trusts, the emergency services, and local people and organisations to allocate these tickets.

Tom Kerridge said: “Key workers have been the true superheroes of this pandemic, and we want to say thanks by offering 1000 complimentary tickets per region we visit so these superstars can let their hair down while enjoying some awesome music and lush grub.”

Greenall’s, the original London dry gin, will be supporting the initiative too, by giving a free drink to each ‘Thousand Thank Yous’ ticket holder at selected events.

They said: “The last 18 months have been incredibly tough for communities across the UK and our frontline workers have been simply amazing throughout.

“Never has anyone been so deserving of a good G&T and a proper knees-up, so we're delighted to be supporting Pub in the Park's 'A Thousand Thank Yous' initiative and can't wait to see everyone at the bar this summer!"
