We're in Marlow this week for Then and Now looking at popular landmarks around the town.
This first photo, from October 1984, is of the Crown Hotel and Aldridge’s shop next door in the High Street.
The iconic building was originally constructed as a market hall for the town in 1807. The hotel was sold in 2008 and has, since, played host to a number of different shops.

This second picture, also from the 1980s, is of the historic Marlow Bridge and All Saints Parish Church, with the High Street visible in the distance.
The view is still almost identical.
