The world’s biggest eighties festival will be bouncing back this August - with an impressive line-up of stars.

Rewind South is returning to Henley-on-Thames from August 20 to 22, with headline performances from Jimmy Somerville’s Big Band-Tastic Boogie and Wet Wet Wet.

Especially created for the Rewind Festival, Saturday night will close with Jimmy Somerville’s Big Band-Tastic Boogie – a hit packed show with a massive big band with brass, strings and special effect including the world’s biggest party popper, as well as special guest Sarah Jane Morris recreating their 1986 number one single ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’.

Sunday night will by headlined by the legendary Wet Wet Wet, making their Rewind Festival debut.

Wet Wet Wet have sold in excess of 15 million singles and albums to date, featuring in the official UK charts for over a colossal 500 weeks and their albums have been certified 20 times platinum in the UK alone.

The retro festival will open with a unique show celebrating over 50 years since the formation of one of the world’s greatest rock bands – Queen.

Queen Symphonic features a full symphony orchestra, a fantastic rock band and four soloists from the international productions of the musical We Will Rock You performing some of Queen’s greatest hits - including We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, We Are The Champions, A Kind Of Magic and more.

Cutting Crew, Go West, Katrina, Roland Gift, Limahl, Pete Wylie, Soul II Soul, Aswad, Nik Kershaw, Grandmaster Flash, John Parr, Bananarama and Billy Ocean will all be joining the impressive line-up.

New for 2021 is the launch of the Pink Flamingo Club in the big top - an eighties-themed nightclub with headline DJs Pat Sharp, Gary Davies, Mark Goodier and Bruno Brooks spinning the best retro tunes.

As well as music on the main stage, there will be plenty of other fun going on elsewhere to enjoy, including a silent disco, funfair rides, a kids zone with entertainment, shops and stalls for jewellery, t-shirts, food and drink and crowd workouts with fitness guru Mr Motivator.

The inflatable church is also returning in 2021.

You can make a whole weekend of it by camping out under the stars.

There will also be campervan and caravan pitches with shower and toilets available.

The festival will finish with a bang on Sunday night with a stunning fireworks display.
