Three people have been arrested after a man was reportedly attacked with a piece of broken glass in an Aylesbury pub.

At around 9.30pm yesterday (June 21), a man in his 20s, was inside The Feathers, in Kingsbury Square, when he tried to intervene in an alleged fight between two other men.

One of the men then reportedly attacked him with a piece of broken glass.

The victim suffered a wound to his neck and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A 23-year-old man from Aylesbury has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A 20-year-old man, from High Wycombe and a 25-year-old woman, from Aylesbury, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All three remain in police custody.

Senior Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Simon Tyas, based at Aylesbury police station said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information about what happened, to please come forward.

“We believe that this was an isolated incident and that there is no wider risk to the public.”
