Reading will begin their Championship campaign with a trip to Stoke City.

The Royals will travel to the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday, August 7, before two home games on the spin against Preston North End and Bristol City. 

Newly-promoted Peterborough United will be the opponents on Boxing Day away from home, with another away trip scheduled for the final day when Luton Town will be the opposition on May 7.
