Five people have been arrested after a man suffered a broken jaw in Bletchley.

The man, 29, currently remains in hospital and will require surgery following the attack that happened at the Captain Rileys Shooting Party Pub, on Tuesday, June 23 at around 11.45pm.

Police attended the venue following reports of a ‘disorder’, where glasses were allegedly thrown causing injuries to two female members of staff, who did not require hospital treatment.

Following this, five men have been arrested for the following:

• A 22-year-old man from Cambridgeshire has been arrested on suspicion of GBH

• A 22-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of affray, GBH and possession of cannabis

• A 31-year-old man from Knowsley has been arrested on suspicion of affray

• A 29-year-old man from Sheffield has been arrested on suspicion of affray

• A 42-year-old man from Nottingham has been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon

Thames Valley Police have confirmed that all the men have been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
