Stoke Mandeville Combined School is shut today [Monday, July 5] due to numerous members of staff and students self-isolating. 

Buckinghamshire Council confirmed the news through their social media pages, but online and remote lessons will continue for the school’s students whilst the building is closed.

In their tweet, Bucks Council said: “Stoke Mandeville Combined School is closed today.

“All required contact tracing and self-isolation procedures in place, however, due to large numbers of staff and pupils self-isolating the school has moved to Remote Learning today to allow review of additional cases.”

According to the Government website, there have been 441 positive cases of coronavirus in the Aylesbury Vale over the last seven days, which is an increase of 273 from the previous week.

Additionally, there have 83 reported cases over the last 24 hours [July 4/July 5].
