A Bucks man who stole £30 in cash from a Toni and Guy hair salon has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Steven Unsworth, aged 36, of Blackwater Drive in Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to burglary when he appeared at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on June 10.
The court heard how between July 24 and July 27 in 2019, Unsworth entered the hairdresser as a trespasser and stole £30 in cash.
For the offence, Unsworth was given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for one year. The jail term was suspended to enable Unsworth to continue working with probation services while serving a community order for a previous offence.
As well as the suspended sentence, Unsworth was also ordered to pay £100 compensation and £28 costs.
