A man was aggressive to a Widmer End resident who declined his offer of doing building work on his house.
A resident of Snowdrop Way was approached by a male claiming to be working on a neighbour's property and offering to carry out work on theirs too.
But when the resident said no, the man became aggressive towards him.
The rogue trader was reported to be a white male, aged around 30, of medium height and medium/stocky build.
He had dark hair and was speaking with an Irish accent and he had a white panel van with a ladder on the top.
Wycombe Neighbourhood Watch has urged anyone who is suspicious of someone offering to do work on their property to call police on 101 to report it.
