Parking restrictions could be put in on roads near a well-used railway station amid complaints from residents about cars being parked near junctions.
Double yellow lines could be put in place in Saunderton Vale and Deanfield Close, which are both just metres away from the railway station.
With Saunderton on the Chiltern Main Line, it is a popular station for commuters to park at to head into London Marylebone on weekdays – with many leaving their cars in side roads.
Fed-up residents have urged Transport for Bucks to look at putting in parking restrictions near the station amid complaints about access and egress for their vehicles and service vehicles.
Transport for Bucks has come up with a plan that would see ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions at junctions, bends and chicanes on Saunderton Vale, while Deanfield Close would have a restricted zone put in place Monday to Friday from 10am to 11am and 2pm to 3pm.
The highways authority said: “The restricted parking proposal aims to prevent any commuter parking displacement to Deanfield Close if restrictions are implemented in Saunderton Vale.”
