A crash on the M40 this morning near High Wycombe has left a woman injured.

A fire engine from High Wycombe was called to the M40 between junction 3 and junction 4 this morning at around 8am after two cars were involved in a collision.

Firefighters found a woman on the scene who was injured and used a medical kit to help her.

Traffic was affected and one lane of the road was shut while firefighters were on the scene, but all three lanes are now open and traffic is expected to return to normal levels soon.
