A woman has been taken to hospital following a "multiple vehicle" collision on the M40 near High Wycombe this morning.
Following the crash on the motorway this morning at around 8am, South Central Ambulance Service has confirmed that a patient has been taken to Wexham Park Hospital to receieve treatment.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene between junction 3 and junction 4 at 8.02am where one patient was treated and then taken to hospital. No other people received treatment.
Bucks Fire and Rescue confirmed earlier today that a woman was injured in the incident.

A lane was closed at the time of the incident but the road has now been fully reopened and traffic is flowing normally.
