An 84-year-old man who damaged another car in a crash and failed to report it to the police has been fined.
David Krause, of Riverpark Drive in Marlow, appeared at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on June 3, where he pleaded guilty to failing to report a road accident and driving without due care and attention.
The court heard how on February 2, in Knaves Beech Way in Loudwater, Krause was driving a Honda CR-V when he was involved in a crash where another car was damaged.
Krause did not give his name and address to the driver of the other car and failed to report the accident at a police station within 24 hours.
Krause was ordered to pay an £80 fine for each of the two offences and will also have to pay £144 to the court in costs.
