A new wood-fried pizza eatery will launch this month just outside Buckinghamshire for the summer holidays.

Based at the Tumblestone Hollow playground at Stonor Park in Henley-On-Thames, The Rumble Hut will offer locals and tourists pizza by using fresh ingredients which will then be cooked by an Italian chef with a wood-fired Gozney oven.

The pizza menu is available from 11am - 4pm Friday – Monday during term time, then every day in the school holidays, with the Rumble Hut also being open on Fridays and Saturday nights between 7pm – 9pm.

Speaking of the new Rumble Hut, William and Lady Ailsa Stonor said: “When we first sat down and began to plan Tumblestone Hollow, we knew we wanted it to be a complete experience for visitors and somewhere that they can spend a full day with their family or loved ones.

“Part of this vision is ensuring there’s plenty of delicious food to satisfy rumbling tummies.

The Rumble Hut sits within the new adventure playground, which launched on Easter weekend this year and is in the style of a traditional Shepherd’s Hut but modified to include a fully functional kitchen and wood-fired pizza oven.

In addition, Stonor Park has installed a new, safari-shaped tent, which can be hired exclusively as part of their children’s birthday party options.

This will include access to Tumblestone Hollow, pizzas from The Rumble Hut, drinks and ice cream for a group of up to 25 children.

William added, “The Rumble Hut and tipi ties into the rest of Tumblestone Hollow beautifully.

"We wanted the whole area to blend together seamlessly and by using similar finishes and carefully thinking about where it’s located, Ailsa and I are thrilled with the result and extremely happy to have this new facility open for our guests.”

“Whilst we have The Pantry near the main house and the visitor’s centre for light refreshments, we know that the addition of The Rumble Hut gives guests another delicious option to consider for their families, who have worked up an appetite at Tumblestone Hollow.”
